True Gambrel Pole Building in Monroe – Snohomish County

A Collaborative Design Experience

Working closely with our building representative, our customers in Monroe envisioned a stunning 28’x36’x14′ True Gambrel pole building. The design process was a collaborative effort, ensuring the final structure not only met their functional needs but also exceeded their aesthetic preferences. The result is a beautiful pole barn that stands out for its unique features and thoughtful design.

Second Floor Loft

One of the standout features of this True Gambrel pole building is the expansive 28’x36′ second floor loft. This spacious area provides ample room for various uses, from storage to a potential living or recreational space. The loft design takes full advantage of the gambrel roof’s distinctive shape, offering a blend of practicality and charm. The high ceilings and open layout create a versatile space that can adapt to the evolving needs of the owners.

The Lean-To

Adding to the building’s functionality and visual appeal is a 12’x36’x12′ lean-to. This extension provides additional covered space that can be used for a variety of purposes, such as equipment storage, a workshop area, or even an outdoor seating space. The lean-to seamlessly integrates with the main structure, maintaining the cohesive look and feel of the pole barn while enhancing its utility.

The Barn Look: Split Sliding Doors

On one of the gable ends, the building showcases a classic barn aesthetic with two split sliding doors. These doors not only contribute to the building’s traditional charm but also offer practical access for larger items and equipment. The barn-style doors are a nod to classic agricultural structures, providing a nostalgic touch that complements the modern functionality of the pole building.

Roll-Up Garage Doors

In contrast to the barn look on one end, the opposite gable features two 10’x10′ roll-up garage doors. These doors provide easy access for vehicles and larger machinery, blending convenience with the overall design. The roll-up doors are a practical choice for the owners, allowing for smooth and secure entry and exit while maintaining the building’s cohesive aesthetic.

True Gambrel Design

We love the unique design and aesthetic of these True Gambrel pole buildings. The gambrel roof, with its dual-sloped sides, offers both increased interior space and a distinctive appearance. This style not only enhances the visual appeal but also adds functional value to the building. The versatility of the gambrel design makes it an excellent choice for various applications, from agricultural use to residential and commercial purposes.

Through a collaborative design process, our customers achieved a structure that perfectly suits their needs and aesthetic preferences. Featuring a spacious second floor loft, a practical lean-to, and a blend of traditional and modern access points, this pole barn is a testament to the versatility and appeal of post frame buildings. Whether you’re considering a new pole building for storage, work, or leisure, the True Gambrel design offers a unique and practical solution.
