Welcome to beautiful Whidbey Island where PermaBilt just completed this 30’x30’x10′ a steel pole building. This customer wanted a workshop with some unique design features. First, the customer was interested in a steeper, cabin-style roof. Which would add a rustic charm to the building and match the style of the other buildings on the property. As well as match the colors with the black steel siding and roofing with the cedar accents on the custom garage doors and enclosed soffits.
A standout feature of the project is the enclosed cedar soffits. These tongue and groove cedar soffits were installed to match the custom garage doors. Thus creating a cohesive look throughout the building. The decision to use cedar for both the soffits and garage doors brings out the natural beauty of the wood. As well as contrast with the black siding to really make the color pop out. In addition to the enclosed cedar soffits, we worked with the customer to trim and frame out garage door openings for their custom cedar garage doors.
