We recently completed a beautiful pole building shop for one of our customers in King County. Our customer has a golf cart repair business and he was running his business in multiple buildings on his property. He was running out of room and he was tired of not having everything in one place. After some planning he decided he needed at least 2000 square feet of room for both the shop and storage of his parts inventory. After attempting to obtain a permit for a new building he was informed he could not build anything over 1500 square feet due to setback and impervious limits on the lot. His frustration dealing with the permit department led him to our company and our professional staff so we could both design the building and obtain the building permits.
Our building representative worked with him answering all of his questions, addressing all of his requirements. He designed a 36’ x 40’ x 16’ building that at 1440 square feet was within the permitting limits, gave him all the room he needed for the shop and the tall height allows him to store his parts vertically in a racking system. The three steel roll up doors on two walls gives this building maximum flexibility for his current needs and future expansion.
