Monitor Barns

Although monitor pole building design is often attributed to barns, modern monitor design is found on houses, shops, sheds and garages. This unique design is not only aesthetically pleasing but offers great functionality. When designed as a barn, the second floor is often used as a hayloft with eave lights or windows that allow for natural lighting, however, when designed as a shop, garage or storage shed, the second floor becomes a much needed area for additional storage or even a home office.
Monitor post frame buildings are excellent when you have a minimum amount of floor space and are maximizing the potential storage space without the extra spending that comes with building an entire second floor. These barns have a large center aisle that allows for through driving with farm equipment or trucks and can even be built without a second floor allowing a tall door to pull in a recreational vehicle.
