An Oak Harbor Washington resident tore down an old garage to make room for a new one. His design was to construct an L‐shaped steel garage to accommodate his family’s two cars, sports vehicles and riding lawn mower. He favored the L‐shaped design knowing it would work well in his small, narrow plot and was visually different . He didn’t want a standard garage ‐ he wanted a steel garage that was unique.
So to accommodate his vision, we discussed layout, size and materials. Once approved, we constructed his garage that included two 9’ x 7’ garage doors, three 5’ x 3’ windows, three 12” x 12” gable vents and 18” eave and gable overhangs. Other components—such as the 10’ x 8’ garage door, two walk‐in doors, flood lights and gutters—were provided by the owner.
With the near completion of his garage, our customer was pleased with our process and most importantly, provided him a steel garage that protected his assets from the harsh elements of the Northwest.
