Rising Sun Produce is a fruit and vegetable business based in Seattle. The company provides delicious seasonal produce at reasonable prices. They needed a new storefront and came to PermaBilt®, where we listened to their needs for a farmer’s market‐type commercial steel building with plenty of panel doors for traffic, access, natural lighting and ventilation.
We began the process by completing a design contract – an engineering only contract – to create a plan that would incorporate details necessary for the structure and site restrictions. By taking this first important step, PermaBilt® was able to provide the customer the most cost effective structure for their unique needs.
One of the challenges in building the storefront, was that the street was on an incline. Because of the slant, various panel door sizes were placed to create an even, level appearance. Once the storefront was built with panel doors, gable vents, gutters and downspouts, the business added their signage, indoor and outdoor lighting and refrigeration.
With the siding color and the company’s signage, the building quickly caught the eyes of the local community, and more importantly, potential customers.
