On the beautiful Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands, our customer reached out to us while planning the build of their dream home. With a property located right on the airstrip, they knew they wanted more than just a house — they needed a custom pole building to serve as an airplane hangar as well. We worked with the customer to design a structure that would not only meet the functional needs of aircraft storage but also match the unique character of their property and new home. One of the standout features of this project was the installation of a rustic hangar door. This custom detail gave the building a timeless, one-of-a-kind look that blends perfectly with the island’s natural setting.
