Our Stanwood Washington customer needed a two story building for the garage on the bottom and a
workshop on top that would let in as much light as possible. The pitched dormers that
PermaBilt® installed were 6’ wide and included 5’ x 2’ vinyl sliding windows with grids which
allowed for natural light to flood the second floor.
The building included a built a 24’ x 28’ second story floor accessed by a 4’ L-Shaped staircase
with hand rail. Below, we added two 12’ x 7’ raised panel steel overhead doors, six vinyl
windows, 18” eave and gable overhangs and two PermaBilt® insulated doors which included a
polyurethane foam core—reducing sound and possessing superior insulation. The PermaBilt®
door included three hinges, full perimeter weather stripping, a rolled edge, and a stainless
steel lockset. Gutters and downspouts were later added by the customer.
Finally, when the concrete was poured and finished, the customer was ready to move in. He couldn’t be more pleased by how his initial design had flawlessly been built and now was ready to be put to service.
